THE VALUE OF KNOWLEDGE THROUGH H-BIM MODELS: HISTORIC DOCUMENTATION WITH A SEMANTIC APPROACH
3D Modelling Data Modeling HBIM Paradata Documentation CIDOC-CRM
2019/3/4
The Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the Architectural Heritage field is constantly proving to be a fertile ground for the experimentation of innovative systems for the enhancement and managemen...
THE USE OF GIS FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE PHENOMENOLOGICAL APPROACH TO THE SEISMIC RISK ANALYSIS: THE CASE OF THE ITALIAN FORTIFIED ARCHITECTURE
GIS phenomenological approach fortified architecture damage mechanisms castles fortresses
2017/6/20
The present paper proposes the use of GIS for the application of the so-called phenomenological approach to the analysis of the seismic behaviour of historical buildings. This approach is based on the...
A control law is constructed for a linear time varying system by solving a two player zero sum differential game on a moving horizon, the game being that which is used to construct an H-infinity contr...
A Subspace Approach to Balanced Truncation for Model Reduction of Nonlinear Control Systems
Model Reduction Balanced Truncation
2015/6/19
In this paper we introduce a new method of model reduction for nonlinear control systems. Our approach is to construct an approximately balanced realization. The method requires only standard matrix c...
A New Approach for Analysis and Synthesis of Time-Varying Systems
Time-Varying Systems Analysis and Synthesis
2015/6/19
In this paper new techniques are developed for the analysis of linear time varying (LTV) systems. These lead to a formally simple treatment of robust control problems for LTV systems, allowing methods...
An Approximate Dynamic Programming Approach to Decentralized Control of Stochastic Systems
Decentralized Control Dynamic Programming
2015/6/19
we consider the problem of computing decentralized control policies for stochastic systems with finite state and action spaces. Synthesis of optimal decentralized policies for such problems is known t...
A Graph-Theoretic Approach to Distributed Control over Networks
Networks Distributed Control
2015/6/19
We consider a network of control systems connected over a graph. Considering the graph structure as constraints on the set of permissible controllers, we show that such systems are simply constrained ...
An Approximate Dynamic Programming Approach to the Dynamic Traveling Repairperson Problem
Traveling Repairperson Dynamic Programming
2015/6/19
This paper presents a novel suboptimal policy for the Dynamic Traveling Repairperson Problem~(m-DTRP), a problem requiring dynamic planning for a team of vehicles. The suggested policy is adaptive, lo...
A New Approach to Linear Filtering and Prediction Problems
A New Approach Linear Filtering Prediction Problems
2014/8/13
The classical filtering and prediction problem is re-examined using the BodeShannon representation of random processes and the “state transition” method of
analysis of dynamic systems.
