Evaluation of CERES-maize simulation model results with measured data using water pillow irrigation under semi-arid climatic conditions
CERES-maize model water pillow maize water deficit
2011/1/10
The computer-based CERES-maize model for simulating maize growth and development was used to simulate maize yield in a semi-arid region of Harran Plain of Southeastern Turkey in 2005 and 2006.
(Simulation of Tomato Growth Behavior in Response to Planting-density Based on Functional-structural Model)
(Dynamic Simulation of Leaf Inclination Angle Distribution Based on Ellipsoidal Function)
Attempt to use the SWATREZ and UNDYS models for the simulation of ground water pollution in agrosystems irrigated by municipal sewage
modelling waste water ground water nitrogen hydromorphic soil
2008/12/2
For the simulation of water movement and pollutant transport in the hydromorphic soil profile two numerical models SWATREZ and UNDYS were used. These models are based on water movement in porous mater...
Analysis of the shear behaviour of a grain assemblyusing dem simulation
grain assembly shear behaviour numerical simulation Discrete Element Method
2008/11/26
Shear behaviour of a grain assembly in a shear box under the condition of no externally applied load was investigated numerically using the Discrete Element Method. The assembly was a monodisperse sys...
Mathematical simulation of soil cloddiness
soil mechanics clods cracking size distribution mathematical simulation
2008/11/14
A theoretical model was developed to predict soil clod size distribution attained after tillage so that it can be taken as initial state of soil for following erosion processes. The model was develope...
Simulation of the soil water regime for grassland irrigation
water flow in soil evapotranspi ration crop production irrigation predicted
2008/11/12
The principle aim of this study was to develop a model to predict the water processes under growing grass. This paper includes: the GRAGRO model simulates the vertical flow in an unsaturated homogeneo...
Two approaches to the description of distribution keys in crop simulation models
dynamic model plant development physiological age dry matter distribution keys
2008/11/11
Distribution keys are used in crop models for the description of assimilates partitioning between several plant organs. Standard approach is to use table data for discrete points as functions of a phy...
