繰糸機の歴史は諏訪式座繰り機から多条繰糸機、自動繰糸機へと発達を遂げていった。諏訪 式座繰り機と多条繰糸機は一般的に自動繰糸機よりも繰糸張力が低いとされ、これが織物の風 合いにも影響するものと考えられている。これらの3 機種で繰糸された生糸を比較した場合、 どの程度糸質に違いがあるのか、今回比較検討したので、その概要を報告する
これまで、諏訪式座繰り機、多条繰糸機、自動繰糸機の3 機種で繰糸した生糸の性状について検 討を行った。その結果、諏訪式座繰り機、多条繰糸機は自動繰糸機よりも伸度が高く、さらに、諏 訪式座繰り機はやわらかい糸が繰糸出来ることを報告した。今回はこれら3 機種で繰糸した生糸を 用いて、合撚糸後の生糸の物性を比較するとともに、織物を製織し、風合いについて検討を行った ので、その概要を報告する。
